i can actually fit in a cappuccino and in an az-1!! Tight but it fits lol
Yatta!! (Smaller steering wheel for more comfort required though... But heel and toes are rather easily doable so I really fit hahaha. So damn happy now :) )
EDIT: actual car
The one I tried, along with the cappucino next to it... Yup, not cheap (13000$ here)... But it's also 20.000miles and pretty much looks like it's new.
The Cappuccino next to it (didn't bother taking a picture) was slightly modified, with 55000miles and was on sale for 6000$... I have the cash to buy the lattest, but I must resit the temptation and wait until I have some more saving to go wild :)
PS: did I mention I actually have more headroom in the Cappuccino and in the AZ-1 than I had in the Corvette?? :)

About how tall and heavy are you? I'm pretty sure height won't be a problem, but width will, for me... (5'9, 275 lbs...)

Hey, Flavien, do you have an email I can reach you at?

275lbs, you just won't fit for sure... I'm 6" 2 for 180lbs and seats are a snug fit for me... Not too tight but I can't get fat haha. I also look like a complete idiot every time I crawl out of the cars lol.

I've seen one of those at C&C, amazing little thing!

The Cappuccino looks significantly bigger, and that's saying something

They are actaully the EXACT same size down to the millimeter as they both answer to Keijidosha specs (3295mm long and 1395mm wide). The Autozam has a slightly longer wheelbase though but weights 5kg less ;)

Well... I've got two years before I can import one to lose the weight...

I think if you manage to go down to 200lbs you should be fine to be confortable... But right now, you would probably struggle to actually turn the steering wheel as your shoulder and arms would be ON the door... Not even mentioning the struggle to get in and out of the car... Or even close the door itself for that matter :)

Are parts readily available? I would live to import one, albeit lack of funds and parts availability scare me.

Maybe its the headlights then, but something makes that Cappuccino look bigger

Is the Suzuki Cara the same thing?

yes, excactly the same thing. It's just rebadged. It's a lot harder to find though. This is the Mazda version of the car

hehe, maybe, but they are the exact same size :)

Yes, no problem, everything will have to ship from Japan though, but it's very easy to find parts...

Interesting. On Goo-net-exchange.com I think there's more Capas than the others currently listed.

on the japanese one there are about twice more autozam than suzukis

Also, I have to thank you for this insatiable craving for an Autozam AZ-1 that I am currently succumbing to

Ah ya, I see, cool! I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be in a car that size where the windows won't roll down. The cappuccino would definitely be more my style.
